Shipping and Delivery

SalonQuip shall only supply goods to you on the following terms and conditions unless we agree, in writing, to vary these terms and conditions:

1.Freight Charges

1.1   Freight/Postage and delivery charges will be added to your on-line orders and emailed to you for your approval for us to process payment and dispatch your order.
1.2   Our freight/postage charges are at competitive rates, however, they may vary from time to time depending on fuel surcharges applied by couriers.
1.3   Delivery of some larger furniture and/or equipment items may be at the discretion of SalonQuip.
1.4   A packing and handling fee is additional if you choose to use your own courier or freight account.

2.Shipping and delivery

2.1   Dispatch of goods is normally by contract courier or by trackable  parcel post, however, we reserve the right to deliver goods by any other reasonable means. You have the option of arranging for collection of the goods at your cost. 
2.2   You agree that you will be responsible for all delivery costs unless otherwise stated. 
2.3   If no-one is at your delivery address to take delivery of goods and sign for them, or the courier driver cannot access your delivery address at the time that delivery is attempted, this is deemed to be a Futile Attempted Delivery and we reserve the right to recover from you any extra delivery costs incurred.
2.4   Couriers expect that your premises will be open during 9.00am – 5.00 pm business hours Monday-Friday.  You must advise us if your business is closed at any time during these hours.
2.5   If your premises are closed at any time during these hours, you must provide us with Authority To Leave the goods without signature or else you must provide us with alternative delivery address where a signed delivery can be carried out at all times during the above stated hours and days.
2.6   Couriers cannot phone you to arrange the delivery time.
2.7   A scheduled delivery time can be arranged at 3 days’ notice and at additional cost.
2.8   We will not be liable for damage to or loss of goods left on your instructions at your unattended delivery address.
2.9   You agree that you will advise us in writing of changes of address or opening hours in advance of placing an order.
2.10  A packing and handling fee is additional when using your own courier or freight account.

3.Delivery Times

3.1   Delivery times and days depend on the courier company or mail delivery schedule for your location.
3.2   We will process your on-line order at the earliest possible time after receiving your written approval to process credit card payment.
3.3   At certain times of the year e.g pre-Christmas delivery times may be 1-2 days longer than usual due to increased volumes carried by couriers.
